Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 25, 2026

The short version: Clipobara collects nothing. The app has no networking code, no analytics, and no accounts. Your clipboard history is stored only on your Mac, under your control, and is never transmitted anywhere — because it technically can’t be.

Who we are

Clipobara is a clipboard history utility for macOS (“the App”). This policy explains what data the App handles and what happens to it. It applies to the App and to our website, clipobara.com.

What the App collects

Nothing. The App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or usage data. Specifically, the App contains:

Your clipboard data

To provide its core function, the App observes the macOS pasteboard and saves what you copy — text, links, images, files, and other pasteboard content — as your local clipboard history.

Deleting your data

You are in full control of your history:

Our website

clipobara.com is a static website. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Standard technical server logs (such as IP addresses in access logs) may be kept for security and operations and are not used to identify visitors.

App Store

If you download the App from the Mac App Store, Apple processes your purchase and download under its own privacy policy. We do not receive any personal information about you from Apple.

Children’s privacy

The App does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the App handles data — for example, by adding an optional online feature — we will update this policy before the change ships and note the new effective date above.
